review 1: Another Celia Graves book that is not great but not horrible. Not a whole lot of action in this book. Celia is just as annoying as ever with her drama with her family and friends. The characters are just as flat and boring as ever and not very well rounded. I didn't feel anything for any of the characters except for John Creede and he was banished from the series as a love interest for Celia. So really nothing to really look forward to going into this book. The story was alright but not that exciting. I think I just got tired of Celia not planning ahead for needing food and having all kinds of drama with her family and Bruno. Ugh I need less drama and more action in order to keep my attention. This didn't have enough action to keep me engrossed in the story. I am ... moreglad to be done with this series, it wasn't horrible but there were times where I wished that I was reading something else that was better. There was nothing original going on in this series to make it special or different from the many other paranormal urban fiction out there. Overall 3 out of 5 stars.
review 2: I dont know if this is the end of the series, but if it is, then it was definitely a good one. There is so much going on with this one, you just cant help but devour the book. i didnt put it down, once. i simply had to know what was going to happen. It was reminiscent of the demon rift, but ten times scarier and with more things that could go wrong, and main characters in grave danger. There was a huge sigh of relief at the end of this book.... less
