review 1: UnriddenI don’t normally read cowboy books so wasn’t sure what to expect, that said I struggled with a number of things about this story. The sex was so-so, probably because I didn't really care about the characters. I found it hard to believe that a guy in his 20’s had to show a 35 year old female, where her g-spot was, and by the way she didn’t even realise she had one. Then I had to deal with the lame names (Slade, Mustang, Brani, Candy) and as if they weren’t enough the author had to top it off by revealing Mustangs real name was Michael Jackson! Was this an attempt at humor, maybe??The back story about being a writer didn’t hold my interest, and the ending was just plain off IMO.This book wasn’t all bad, I just think maybe Western are not my t... morehing.
review 2: Slade and Mustang have been doing the bull riding scenes for awhile so it comes as a shock to Mustang to realize his best buddy is getting bored and needs something new to shake home out of his funk...enter Jenna Block a romance writer who has seen better days in her career, especially after finding out that if she wants to continue she'll need to change her style and write about a subject she knows nothing about. Mustang spots her in the crowd on the stands and knows he's found exactly what his buddy needs....he just never realized how right he was!!! Fun and happy read...never disappointed with Cat!!!....onto the next less
