review 1: Well written and a pretty fast paced book once you start. The pages always flipped over quick pushing me to know what happens next. However, to be fair to other authors, the story lacked depth and while fast paced, two-thirds the way in it was clear how it would end. There was also too much attention paid to every step in the plot that you could skip few pages and not notice any progress at all. Given the plot was clear, it would have been fantastic if the story was developed more. I give it 3 stars solely for the way it was written and sure most will enjoy this book
review 2: Truly a rollercoaster ride! Two women who have nothing in common culturally, economically or otherwise, end up sharing a no-holds-barred need to rescue a special-needs child in a desperate
... more situation.Debut novelist Catherine Lea has created a heart-pounding page turner. You won't be able to put your Kindle down!Don't read about this book; rather, just read it.Looking forward to many more novels from Ms. Lea. less

A great read...really found myself vested in the story and wondering what was going to happen next.

This was a decent book. It wasn't the best I have ever read, but it was engaging and interesting.

Would like to give it a 3-1/2 stars. Some proof reading would have helped it!
