review 1: Such a nice book! I'm a wool sweater kind of woman (you may well ask what I'm doing in DC), and this is a book of lovely wooly sweaters with a few other things thrown in. This definitely goes on my must-own list! Perhaps the best thing of all, from my perspective, is that most of the sweater patterns use worsted-weight wool, and I have so much of that--that's what eight years of knitting in eastern Canada does for you!
review 2: In most pattern books I find maybe two or three projects that I really want to make. In this book I found two or three I DIDN'T want to make. The cover sweater drew me in, but one later in the book actually made me gasp. Then there's the sideways cable/moss stitch hoodie, and the cashmere cowl/headscarf with just enough lace pattern. If
... more I didn't already have two projects on needles and Chrismas projects coming up, I would have started that cowl right away. I was sad that this had to go back to the library. It's on my "to buy" list for sure. less

One of the few knitting books I own that I can honestly say I love every pattern!

My favorite knitting book of 2010. I've queued most of the patterns!
