review 1: This was one good story. The characters, plot, and writing were well done. I only have two small gripes about it, however; there were plenty of subplots going on with all the different characters, but since they were all charming and entertaining, it wasn't too much of a distraction. I did have a problem with Jack imprisoning Lauren for most of the book, but I can see how it was integral to the story. Emotions were high; I could feel the intensity of Jack's and Lauren's pain and pleasure when they were together. And let's not forget little Melody, sweet child that she is; she also gets her happy ending. I hadn't read Celeste Bradley prior to the last two stories in this series, and I am quite impressed. I'll be looking out for her future titles. 4 s... moretars.
review 2: Jack was the perfect hero for the last book in this series. Thinking that his child Melody belonged to his former fiancée when it was really Laurel's made the book an enjoyable read. I really liked the flashbacks between Laurel and Jack when he was engaged to her sister. I liked how you can tell that Jack already loved Laurel but didn't realize until the end. It was a sweet read and the cuteness of Melody made it so much better. I really liked Laurel as the heroine because despite all the horrible things that happened to her because of her pregnancy she was still a strong woman. I liked how both of them overcame their fears! Button's role in the book is hilarious, he was very entertaining! Another great read by Celeste Bradley! less
