Kate Redman Mysteries
review 1: This is the first in a British mystery series introducing police detective Kate Redman. I love British mysteries, so I gave it a go. Really kept my interest all the way to the end. Good tight writing and plot. Believable characters, and puzzling mystery. The only negative is the length of the book. I thought it would be longer. Immersed in the drama and characters, I never want a good book to end. This one ended too soon. Not too soon for the resolution of the plot, but too soon for me to be leaving my new friends. At only 189 pages, I wanted more.
review 2: Finally! A book with some actual content, believeability, and written in a manner to keep me guessing and interested! Well-done mystery and I didn't doze off once. I liked that the role of the main characte
... morer was a female police detective. The author gave this character interesting insights into the reactions of the people she interviewed. I enjoyed her perceptiveness as I often feel these clues to behavior in others myself. I will read another book by this author. less
