review 1: I enjoyed this book greatly! There were so many logical insights on life that almost anyone can relate to, as well as wit to lighten the heavier subjects covered in this book. Unfortunately I was a little turned off by the amount of religious content. Yes, I do understand to each his own and that the author works in a church enviornment, but for the agnostic readers of the world I for one was a tad uncomfortable with the religious references. For those who are religious though the references are well placed and do not push their beliefs. For anyone who wants a down to earth perspective on life, this is a great book to read!
review 2: I loved this book!!! It was funny at times which lightened the tension on some subject matters. But while joking at times this bo... moreok is meant to take seriously. I loved how the book is for more of the Christian and Catholic kids, but they tell you to make your own decisions. Not everything has to be perfect because face it no one is. The book says it's up to you to decide when the time is right and when you're ready to do something. Basically this book is telling you to be yourself, but also giving advice to help you with anything you think you need to work on. This book helped me a lot actually and I'm glad my best friend allowed me to borrow it. I loved the advice given and how well written it was. less
