review 1: A shallow, sordid tale about so-called adults who never rise above a teenage, locker-room mentality of always seeking and even more often talking about mechanical sexual exploits. I found this book to be devoid of redeeming traits in any of the characters save one. The only reason I read this was to pass the time on an airplane. It was surprisingly highly-rated, and had a cover and title that sounded promising. Don't judge a book by its cover.

Disturbing on several levels. A manual for how NOT to parent or behave in a marriage.

The prose isn't great but I love this type of dark satire.
