review 1: This is weird. I think it's sort of amazing but there is so much explicit sex. There is encounter after encounter from solo outings to adultery to the first fumblings of 13year old children. It's quite disconcerting in its graphic nature but still manages to come off more clinical than anything which makes it palatable. Also, it's so well written that it feels integral to the story. Just be aware if you're sensitive about that sort of thing. I think it's a genius comment on the role of the Internet and technology in modern lives and how children are growing up in a new world. I fully recommend it to anybody with a relatively strong stomach for reality.
review 2: Thought it was ok. The issues were interesting and it definitely made me think about how modern tech
... morenology has made it challenging to communicate with each other. The reactions led me to thoughts of how I would try to parent in this difficult new environment. The only problem is that the novel just stopped without any real resolution. Perhaps this was the point? The resolutions we got were cliches (suicide attempt by the controlling father). I felt like he tried to take on too many characters. I would have preferred a smaller cast. The football coaches story for example was not needed in my opinion. Glad I read it and not surprised it turned out to be a mess of a movie:) less

Probably one of the most anticlimactic books I've ever read. I guess not my style.
