review 1: i waver between rating this with 3 stars or 4 stars. the overall book is very good, it will pull you in and make you part of the story. at times the characters jump around and so many different people i found myself thinking "who is this person?". the ending felt slightly rushed but at the same time I couldn't put it down. i stayed up way too late determined to finish the book. A good story, i like how it shows both sides of perspective.
review 2: Within the first third of this book I could feel what was going to happen, and I kept hoping that I was wrong. Unfortunately, I was not wrong, but it took until the last third of the book to prove it. I think the author can write pretty well, I actually liked the author note at the end better than a lot of the book... more, but this story was not that great. Too predictable and black/white. No surprises, with the exception of one at the end, and pretty one dimensional characters. less
