review 1: I loved this book, but it was the weakest so far for me because of the frustrating ending, which was too much of a cliffhanger for my taste. I would have preferred the book to finish after Dex's party rather than carrying on. It felt as though the party section was rushed and so was the ending, leaving me annoyed and agitated - especially as I have to wait over a month for the next one to be released!Still an enjoyable read, but a shame it was let down by the ending (which would have been better as the beginning of book 4 in my opinion).
review 2: Third book in the series and it definitely gets better with each story. It's so rare for me to love secondary characters as much as the main ones, but Cael/Ash and Hobbs/Calvin are wonderful additions! Love all the ... morecouples! There are definitely times I wish the author slowed some scenes down as I thought they were resolved rather quickly for such a big buildup, but it's still a good book. Some dialogue feels weird or choppy, but easy to overlook as I'm probably just being picky. Great series! Can't wait for the next one as this one is left with a major cliffhanger! less
