review 1: Pretty weird and even slightly ridiculous. That pregnancy came out of nowhere and there wasn't really a reason for it 'cause they could and should have asked about that and other stuff and they didn't. They had an alpha gargoyle at their disposal and never bothered to ask anything relevant. Pretty reckless and idiotic. Then again, having sex was their priority the whole book. I don't think they even bothered to bond with each other very well...and the end was pretty anti-climatic too.
review 2: I had to give this three stars because I hate books were men get pregnant. If I wanted that I'd read a m/f romance. It sucks too, because I love this series...actually I love pretty much all of Ms. Richard's books and hate giving bad reviews. One thing I really liked... more was the introduction of a gargoyle. You don't really see them used as a romantic lead character or at least I don't see that very often. Still, looking forward to more books in this series. less
