review 1: Oh wow emotional! I am really getting into this series !! there's so much that happens but it's not like other bits where it doesn't really go into details about it or leaves bits out which I really like about these books ...tears for ava's mum :'( .. seriously it was like I was there apart of the family and I couldn't stop the tears...I do really like that it's from others POV that helps alot ...I'm can't wait to read more !! I defiantly recommend this series !! :-D
review 2: Mmmm....a definite improvement over the 2nd book.... While Ava was still kind of annoying and...imbalanced emotionally? It's just that she would fly off the handle sometimes out of nowhere. I find it hard to follow and believe sometimes. However, Tex finally had some redeeming moment
... mores, which was a relief. I enjoyed her much more in this book, and even her relationship with Viktor....they worked well together in a strange way. I was so glad to have more Jamie moments too....curious to see where that goes. Helena was a delight, and finally added some depth to the past and the Di story... Ivan's explanation was satisfying, though I still don't get what *exactly* attracts them all to Ava. It was nice to see her having more moments with her family, and come back to that story. And by nice I also mean heartbreaking and cry-inducing. It was so hard to watch her deal with her mother's deterioration and it brought back so many memories for me. I think Ms. Cameron tackled that issue just brilliantly, and with realism and humility.Peter, as ever, remains the highlight for me, and for some bizarre reason he keeps getting better and better. Oh my yes...The ending though...I still don't seem to like the way Ms. Cameron has been ending each book in this series....it just doesn't flow well and comes kind of abruptly. And this one, while I know she'll explain it in the last book, I just didn't like the way it all happened. I'm still excited to read the conclusion though...of course now I have to wait. I'm a very bad waiter.... less
