review 1: Another great BDSM book by Cherise Sinclair. From a website Mackenzie, or Mac, trades her quaint little cottage home in Iowa with a man in Seattle. she is looking for a fresh start and this is perfect to try and find a job, living quarters etc.Alex is a rich, dominating, business man who needs to be in Iowa for a convention. he needs someone to house sit and care for his dog, Butler. Mac is a vet. Perfect. His only rule don't go into the locked room.Mac though has a think about looked doors from a turbulent childhood and breaks into the room. Shocked and turned on when she finds a dungeon. What she never expected is to be caught when Alex's trip is delayed due to unforseen circumstances.What entails is a journey in which Alex tries to heal Mac's old wounds and Mac tries to... more keep her walls up as best she can without her secrets coming to light. No twist and turns. Just romance and got sex.
review 2: This was a good, easy read. To start with I thought it was very hurried and moving too fast. Mackenzie, a vet doing a house swap to find herself a new job and new start in Seattle to get away from her past. Finds herself being nosey in Alex's gorgeous home. A locked door brings back bad memories for her and she has to open it. I found this part and how she came across this room plus what happens after a little too obvious and not realistic. Once everything is out in the open between them, I actually really enjoyed the book and the view of this hidden lifestyle very exciting and interesting. The relationship that grows between them is sweet and endearing. A good dose of secrets to unveil also makes this book really enjoyable. Although the cover is quite tacky the book wasn't. A good read. less
