Well I will tell you, you read an intense book that will leave you breathless, speachless and shocked. Another great read by Ms. Cox. I love the Club Volare books. I thoroughly enjoyed Catie's feistiness and how she called Jake on his bullshit.
review 2: This is probably my favorite so far, the author wrote Jake's torment so well, and Catie's guilt too. There was a real story line, not just filler between hot sex scenes, and I think that's why I enjoy Chloe's stories so much. I felt Jake's sorrow, guilt, leap off the page and then how be begins to have feelings for Catie, it ... morewas like a flower blooming. It was cute how he was so dazed, he wasn't sure what to do after he had such negative reactions to feel-good emotions before. And Catie kept procrastinating in the expose because she didn't want to lose her new family and Jake, since everyone else in her life had left her alone. less
