review 1: I really enjoyed this novel about an aging Hollywood celeb, movie star Renn Ivins, and the people held willingly or unwillingly in his orbit, including two children and two ex-wives. Told from various points of view, the narrative spins a complex web of relationships among the characters that is fascinating, darkly humorous, and closely observed. The father/son dynamics alone would provide steady employment for a team of therapists. I will need to read more Sneed.
review 2: Most books, when having a celebrity of some sort always have romance that never exist, some type of unrealistic stalker, or a past that is laughable. Little known facts, which needs improvement, has a pretty crappy writing style, and is just plain weird, still is one of the best books i've r... moreead. It dosen't try to make the superstar awesome and perfect. It shows a more realistic side to things and changes our view on what life the stars destroy, the real them. and its not as pretty as we imagine. 4.5 out of 5 stars. less
