review 1: I enjoyed this book a lot, it kept me on my toes till the very end. The quotes are still the best in this sequel, all swoony and mellow:”And her demons, well, they played very well with mine, and when we were together, neither of us had to babysit them, they went off on their own, leaving us be.” This book picked up right where we left Kade and Samantha in book 1. I couldn't stop reading this book. Even though the book was dark and very explicit with the brutality of the abuse that Sam had to suffer, I had my very special moments with Kade's inner dialogue that had me laughing out loud in more than one occasion. This nutcase, temperamental boy was really hiding a sweat boy that experience so much in such and early stage in life. His love for Sam change him inside out... more "It's not my job to change or fix you...my job is to love you with no expectation of you ever being anything more than what you are. if you change at all, I will love what you become, whatever it may be. Just don't leave me, Sam."I enjoyed the emotional roller coaster, enjoyed Christine's writing style, she had me completely wrapped up in this story, and hopefully you will too."Because the future is anything we can make it. Anything you bloody want it to be, love. I'll write that epilogue for you".
review 2: I gave this book 4 stars because at many parts I was on the edge of my seat. It was interesting and the suspense was killing me. I am disappointed that this book didn't really further Sam and Kades relationship at all. I felt like I was missing out on my favourite bit.Also... British peopled do NOT say bloody as much as Kade did.I started getting a but bored of hearing him say it. Trying too hard to be British.Overall worth a read less
