review 1: I have read books by Christopher Anderson before and I have enjoyed them - I would rate his books a "guilty pleasure" - but this one was insipid.I don't believe the fault is entirely Mr. Andersen's. I don't think he had much to work with, with his choice of subjects. One can only hope that they are not as shallow in real life as they are portrayed. Endless club hopping, drinking, and juvenile attempts to make each other jealous. With a dash of conspicuous consumption thrown in for good measure.Mr. Andersen should have been honest with himself after seeing the material he had for his book, and should have dropped the idea of a full length book - maybe an article in "People" magazine.
review 2: I adore William and Katherine and I find their love story to be... more very iconic and one that will probably live on for many years should they remain together. Andersen's version of events read more like a gossip magazine article and some of the events could have been taken out of context (nor do I believe that some of the direct quotes are true, more like paraphrased) but it's a decent read in down time. less
