review 2: I love all of the LCR books that Christy Reece writes but this one really grabbed me. I have always like Noah, the head of LCR the best and he has a bigger part in this one than he has in the last few, so I was thrilled with that part. It was also very exciting to get to delve into Angela whom has been the receptionist/researcher from the beginning. Thrilled that she gets to go on an op and especially since Jake is her partner. We find out early on that Angela really likes Jake and doesn't mind letting him know. Jake has been hurt in the past and he thinks it was all his fault, so he doesn't want to make that mistake again and get to close to anyone. Sparks will fly. There are many twists and turns which I love, also surprises along the way. At the end of the book, it sounds like there are going to be more changes in the next set of LCR books. Can't wait to see what they are. Just know that if you are an emotional person like me, there will be some tears but I love that a book draws me in emotionally and Chances Are really does that. Christy Reece has done it again with Chances Are and just leaves you wanting more. less
