review 1: I'm usually not into the whole 'lovers-turned-soulmates' plots so I wasn't too excited about reading this one, even with the big ratings, but I have to say Cindy Gerard definitely took me for a ride here. I think the fact that both characters had insecurities and both had their walls up good it was a nice read to see the transition of both of them. I'm just glad that although there was the 'I'm not good enough for you' trope - it didn't turn into a Big Misunderstanding/run-away from love trope. Gimme hot blond cowboys and short tough pixies any day of the week cuz I'm sold!
review 2: OMG OMG OMG!!! This is my favorite book of this series yet! I love Johnny and Crystal (he calls her tink as in tinkerbell how cute is that). I loved the chemistry between these... more two, the banter and the fact that both of them were deathly afraid to admit to any deeper feelings for each other. Johnny was a definitely a hot alpha man, but also a man with an look and smile that let you know "resistance is futile". You just hoped you didn't get to broken hearted when it was over.....but then he finally admitted his feelings for crystal (to himself first of course) and I was completely head over heels in love!! How sweet was this man, and the tinkerbell necklace? And the epilogue!!! *sigh*Part of me doesn't want to read anymore from this series, I just want to bask in this book for a while!! less
