review 1: Terrific read!!! This story is the prequel to the V V Inn series. It is told from Alpha Wolf Jonathan Winchester’s point of view and how he came to be working with vampire Dria & her husband Rafe. I had not read any of these books yet, so this is the one I started with and I loved it! Having a vampire series starting off told from a Wolf’s perspective & story was very original. I found it very entertaining and was surprised at how quickly I fell for these characters! I was like an addict needing their next fix as it is very well written and held my interest all the way through. I am sorry that it took me so long to discover C.J. and her books, but I am glad that I did get here eventually! All in all – this is a must-read book and one that I will be reading ov... moreer & over again.
review 2: Jon is a werewolf who leaves the Winnipeg Pack after seeing his potential mate in bed with Romeo, the pack's alpha. Soon he encounters another girl were, and discovers her pack is being held up in a brothel by a powerful vampire. He goes in search of someone who may be able to help him save those werewolves and entreats the help of Dria who so happens to be a vampire.Dria is a kickass vampire and I can't wait to read more of the V.V Inn series. less
