review 1: I really loved this book. At first I was a little worried that there was a third person telling story but the way the author did it was really easy to understand and you kept craving for more every single time I really love the way story unfolds itself since coming from such drastic and extreme event of the slave auctioning. This book gives a little more explanation about D/S relationship and what BDSM is all about. Although I have read a lot of books about it its nice to refresh once memory. All in all I found it to really well written some scenes are more extremes than others so beware to expect that.
review 2: I got a big fat MEH for this book... It sounded like someone vanilla wrote it. On top of that it judges the scene way too harshly. It talked about how... more there were weak needy women in the scene. That may be true, but there are some damaged ppl out there that need 24/7 control and others who need to be controlled 24/7. That's what makes them feel safe etc. Also it judged the small groups that some communities make. It's ridiculous considering the type of Dom she tried to portray who had just gotten to the scene not even a year before... Rolls eyes... I bet she is just as vanilla as they come and just did some quick research and has never been under a whip cuz if she had she would know that everyone has different needs and just like in vanilla couples there are some that need to be constantly with one another and others that work better independently it doesn't make either relationship less valid....Although she makes some good points on how ppl do gather often to just get a more exciting sex life it doesn't take away from who each individual is and what they need or want as far as intimacy.Plus the whole the sub has the power!! HAHAHAHAHAHA! That's one of the biggest lies told to vanilla ppl. If the Dom is worth his salt the sub wont even know what hit em... less
