review 1: The author should have done his research a little better. The stance he takes is very one sided and its evident that he is basing his opinions off of a handful of experiences he has had with schools. For example not ALL parents are the best teachers for their children, just as not ALL teachers only think about test scores and their next pay raise. The public school system IS flawed but unschooling isn't the best option for everyone. There are pros and cons of both, which the author doesn't really address.
