review 1: Gosh. I'm not going to write a review for this, as I don't think I could write one that would make sense, nor would I be able to put my thoughts into words. It was good though. Way, way different than what I thought it was going to be about. The ending, to say the least, confused me. But when I got to the last page I understood. I guess it's one of those books where you have read the whole thing (not that you normally wouldn't, but still) to understand it. I don't know.
review 2: A strange book. The back cover explains nothing of what the book is actually about, though I suppose that makes the book that much more interesting. I certainly wasn't expecting the sex scenes (I haven't read anything by Claude Lalumière before), personally I feel like they were done ... moretastefully, even though nothing was 'left out' so to speak. I'm not sure how I feel about this book. I enjoyed it, but I can't place why. less
