review 1: First the ranting: Why? Why? Why? Why? Why must there be a love triangle? Why? Is that now a requirement in YA books? I just don't understand. Within the plot of the book, there is already a weird sort of triangle/lost love and I don't see why there needed to be another. Here's the problem I have with that. If two people are actually soulmates in every dimension, meant to be together, are each other's destiny, then how can I even for a second invest anything of any kind in the other guy? Please explain that. Here is your soulmate, your forever person, your one and only, the person you are fated to love, ooh, but wait, this guy here is pretty buff. I wanted to beat my own head with this book. I Just do not understand and every time hipster Theo makes a play I hated him, bo... moreth of him. *deep breath*So, rant aside, there is much to enjoy here. The idea that in another dimension, there is a you leading a different life is intriguing and the author handles it well. Without going into too much science, she makes it believable and I was caught up in the story. It would have been nice in the alternative dimensions to have some understanding of why and how the worlds were as they were. Why are some very modern and some almost frozen in time? That would have added to the story for me. The characters are well done and the plot moves along at a good clip. I think it might have been nice to be one single stand-alone, but I'll likely sign on for the rest of the story.Other than the triangle(yuck), I enjoyed it.
review 2: Este libro me encanto, esta muy bien redactado y sobre todo es de rápida lectura. Me enamore de cada personaje y me encanto la idea de que no importa en que dimensión estés si una persona es para ti esta encuentra a manera de estar contigo. Siempre ma ha fascinado la idea de las dimensiones paralelas y en este libro lo vemos de una manera muy realista, sin tanta complicación que puede enredarnos. less
