review 1: Good, not great. I love the simplicity of the book and interactive element (there are little holes the children huff and puff through in order to blow the houses down); this would work particularly well in a one on one lap read situation but might be more confusing in a group. The text/picture ratio is also perfect for a read aloud twist is added to the end...but the twist could stand to be more interesting and make more sense.
review 2: Children will enjoy the "huffing & puffing" they can do throughout this book. I think I would like this book more if attention had been given to the placement of the holes for blowing through. A view of the next page is a random part of a picture and the page after the hole sometimes has partial text you can see. I am not sur... moree if children will notice this but I found it strange. Nice traditional storyline with super cute pigs! less
