review 1: So this was an .... interesting read. Not sure what I was thinking prior to reading this but... Let's just say it took me a while to read because I kept getting frustrated with it and putting it away. But once you get through the back and forth bits and finally get to the good bits (after hundreds of pages) the story is rather enjoyable and a good read. And it does make me think about getting the sequel so that's always a plus for me :)
review 2: Like with the other books I've read by Ms. Owens, there were many ups and downs in this story. The romance, while a little rushed, was spectacular. I loved Devin, and I loved how committed he was to Adisia. At times he did come off a bit stalkerish, but I loved him anyways. I did not love Adisia. I really, really did n
... moreot love Adisia. She made so many horrible decisions, if I could reach into my Kindle and slap someone...I really enjoyed the plot. I've always loved Greek mythology and I liked how Owens mixed the old with the new. There was also plenty of action, keeping the story moving at a nice pace. All and all, I mostly liked the book, and will probably read the next in the series. Of course, cliffhangers tend to make me want to read more. less
