review 1: I received this book free from the publisher. I had a hard time putting the book down. I constantly wanted to know what was going to happen. It was difficult sometimes to read Alicia's response to her daughter and Tommy. Alicia's daughter Chloe was born with Down Syndrome. Alicia is trying to deal with her daughter growing up and experiencing her first love. The end of the book was heartbreaking.
review 2: This book was a quick read for me (approx. a day). I really enjoyed the story line and the authors way of telling the story. My only wish is that there would have been more of an epilogue and maybe more of a development between Alicia and Mark (however, I do know that their story line was very much underneath that of Chloe and Thomas') .
