review 1: This book is the final one in the series to deal with Genghis before moving on to his descendants, and looking back on his life I must say that what he achieved in just a few short decades is truly amazing. To come from starvation and near-death, hunted and alone, to overturning all the old ways the mongols lived by, to conquering impossibly vast lands and nations... I'm really in awe of Genghis! A great read, looking forward to the last 2 books in the series.
