review 1: To say that I was anticipating this book would be an understatement. I tried to hold off reading it till I got on the plane for my vacation next Tuesday, but I couldn't. I had to get my fix of the World of Breakneck. I admit, at first I couldn't remember who Shadow and Tatiana were, but I was MORE than happy to read "Seize Me" and "Withstanding Me" to refresh my memory. This book did not disappoint. There were times when I flinched and winced though a particular scene that is just not for me. It made me uncomfortable and I almost skipped a few chapters just to get past it. But that is what a good writer does, they bring out emotions and feelings, some good and some not so good. I put on my big girl panties and read on and I am glad I did! I love the story, I love the cliff... morehanger-ish ending. Crystal didn't wrap it up with a mushy HEA and I am glad that she didn't because that would be a cop out. The hero and heroine of this story are just finding out about each other and I can't wait till the next book. Pyro tore my heart out and I hope he gets his HEA. All in all, this book has all "ups" and I found myself at times holding my breath, and in others wanting to strangle the s@*! out of someone...Love Shadowing Me! BRAVO CRYSTAL SPEARS! Well worth waiting for!
review 2: I was given an arc copy for an honest review.I have been waiting for this story for a while now since reading SM and WM I really do love this series and had high expectations of Shadow and Tea's story. I wasn't disappointed. It's very fast paced I felt like I was whizzing through as each and every page captivated me and drew me into the story, I felt like I was being welcomed back into the family that I had been missing.shadow is messed up in the head he loves some kinky stuff, it will make your eyes water just reading it and he continues to fight his feelings for tea who wants him more than ever.Tea has grown up quite a lot, she no longer takes any crap off anyone especially not shadow in her eyes he just needs to grow up and see the woman in front of him, especially as she isn't as innocent as she looks. I love how the plot developed and crystal always leaves me wanting more but I do feel that this story lacked the rawness and depth that seize me and withstanding me has. I thought it was that I just hadn't read them for a while so today I re read seize me and still felt like my heart was torn from my chest and stomped on. Don't gt me wrong it's still fantastic and I did fill up a few times but it didn't push me over the edgeSo I'm giving shadowing me 4.5 stars less
