review 1: Hmmmm...There is something likeable here in the writer's voice and style. But she seriously needs to take a writing and/or editing class before she throws this mess out into the world. At least two editors were acknowledged in the beginning of the book and yet there were about a billion typos, grammatical errors, sentence structure issues, etc. wrong with this hot mess. Let me explain: somewhere in the world someone calls herself an "editor" but doesn't know how to use an apostrophe or the difference between two/to/too or their/they're/there. BASIC SHIT. It drove me nuts because it took away from what had potential to essentially be a good story. And BTW, if your life's "dream" is to be a writer, then LEARN YOUR FUCKING CRAFT. An editor shouldn't even have to deal with you... morer two/too/to nonsense. I won't even get into all the other editorial nightmares like the overuse of !!! (one per fucking manuscript please people!) and THE CHARACTERS SPEAKING IN ALL CAPS!!! (WHAT THE FUCK?) That stuff is annoying and detracts from the story.Toward the end the book just loses it all together, which dropped it from a possible 4 stars to like 2.5 - 3 stars. Clearly, NO ONE bothered to edit or even proof read the last few chapters. They hardly even make any sense. But, it had potential and like I said there is something genuinely likeable about the author's voice. I think she has potential to be an amazing writer if she takes the time to sort some of this shit out before inflicting her next body of work on the public.
review 2: ok so I have to admit this book while still good disappointed me a little bit and was not quite as good as the first, I say that because to me the book had to me different stories in one, I thought this was about Storm and ZZ and it was but it was also still about half the mc plus more and I really felt like storm and zz didn't get enough time of their own.:(,, This book was just way to busy, with way to many disaster's happening at every turn, I really hope the next book will focus more on just the story of shadow and T. while its always fun to know how other couples in a series are doing and so on, but when the book becomes about to many couples its hard to feel in depth toward the main couple you are reading about. less
