review 1: Let me start by saying I absolutely love Storm. She has had a mostly s*** life, but she moved forward and deals with. She makes her own decisions and blames no one for them. She knows what she wants and make no excuses for that. When she makes a promise, she keeps it even at her own life's risk. She is loyal to the bone. I really love Storm and ZZ together. They fit together perfectly. They complement each other so well. This second book follows closely with the first book. It is just as raw, gritty, and violent. It is a little more fast paced than the first. There is definitely drama and angst throughout the entire book and few juicy secrets are revealed. I really enjoyed watching ZZ fall in love with Storm. He was very sweet with her. The dynamic between Shadow and Tatia... morena was great and I can't wait to read their book. I hope Sniper and Piper get a book together also. Just like the first book, if you can handle raw, gritty, violence, angst, drama, and all this book has to offer, then it's a definite read.
review 2: I so loved this book - the 2nd book in the series was so much better than the first book. I love ZZ and Storm how can you not love this girl. I liked the build-up between ZZ and Storm and how they did not act on right away. I love how the Author incorporates all the characters in into the story - you are not just hearing ZZ or Storm tell the story but she is including the other characters telling their story.I am looking forward to Shadow's story. less
