review 2: This book was a bit dry in parts. I enjoyed the discussion of sin as a rupture and break in the oneness of the brain. Also, the author would describe Jesus' neurological state which was an intriguing concept. I enjoyed the part where the author would discuss how much joy God finds in us and his creation. ... morel states- truly mind-opening reading. I was a bit wary in the last few chapters where he mentions Rob Bell as an influence in storytelling theology. I think this book was written before the controversy of the Rob Bell book, Love Wins. I was a bit hesitant to trust Thompson's opinions on theology with this recommendation. less
