A family who created a time machine is being followed by the CIA. The family goes through many adventures trying to escape from being followed. The main characters wife dies unexpectedly and the family tries to get the time machine working to travel back to try to prevent her death. This book would be great for fourth or fifth graders to read. They will love the humor and adventures that take place throughout this book. An idea for a lesson would be to create a time capsule and have students fill it up. the students can then write a paper on what they think people in the future will think when they fi... morend the time capsule.
review 2: This book is filled with humor and creativity, what with a secret agent chimpanzee and his pet goldfish, there are many bizarre factors in this book. I only disliked a few parts in the book, and it was just that all the characters names were changed a few chapters into the book. That was a bit confusing, but other than that this book was a fun, quick read. I would recommend this book to people interested in science fiction or fantasy novels. The characters in this book are funny, and relatable. A fast read that is lighthearted and filled with humor, not one to miss! less
