review 1: The sequel to Krokos’s debut novel, False Memory, this novel follows Miranda who, along with her friends, had previously discovered she was a clone crafted as a skilled fighter. While attempting to blend into normal society while they investigate the motives of their “creators,” everything takes a turn for the worse when one of the group abruptly betrays them, murdering Miranda’s friend, Noah. On the run, Miranda soon finds herself in a complex plot involving parallel universes as well as the “original” Miranda, and discovers that the Earth she knows may soon be destroyed. Intent on protecting her friends and saving the world she knows, Miranda is prepared to sacrifice herself in order to succeed. Featuring a physically tough and interesting heroine, False Sigh... moret, is a successful thriller and will keep keep readers engaged and curious. Though one can occasionally get lost in the complicated action sequences Krokos attempts to craft, overall this book will be a welcome addition to the False Memory series and sci-fi/action fans.
review 2: This was the worst book. I really liked the first one, it was great. But they obviously had no idea what to do in this book. It COMPLETELY ruined this series for me. I picked it up at a library, all excited, and returned completely disappointed. It made no sense, and too many twists and aspects were thrown in. It was ridiculous. At first it seemed ok, but as it went on, it got less and less believable. Don't waste your time. less
