review 1: Audiobook. YA book narrated by Kirby Heyborne. Entertaining enough. Heyborne has an unusual cadence to his voice, with pauses where pauses don't belong, but he is animated in the right places. There are a couple of points when the science seems a bit farfetched, and you need to suspend your disbelief a bit about the responsibility Mason takes on, but these are tiny blips in a wonderful, exciting story. I look forward to the next installment, and meanwhile will go out and get a copy of Mr Krokos' first book, False Memory. less

Not quite my usual book pick. It is a sci-fi for young readers. Not a lot to say. Ok, but not great.
