review 1: I liked the progression of the story and character development. I thought the plot twists were interesting and really appreciated the fact that some of the characters endeavors didn't produce the simple solutions they were hoping for. Kira, Heron, and Samm have a journey through a toxic wasteland that kept you reading up way past bedtime. Marcus makes discoveries that can change everything, and the Partials society is not unified like the humans thought they would be.
review 2: Gosh this book was perfect!I'd rate it the full 5 stars but the beginning was a bit slow going but really this book is a 4.5 out of 5!IT WAS SO GOOD!The last 10 percent of this book was crazy and amazing and shocking! I loved this book and the characters were very "alive" in a way. You c... moreould feel their emotions, the author, Dan, is very talented.He has shown me what I love about the dystopian genre. Usually I end up hating the main character in books especially in the science fiction genre especially when they're girls' but Dan has made a very strong, likable lead character who is very inspiring yet relatable.This book didn't have much romance but there is romantic interest and in the last part of this book, the romance part was satisfying even though it was very little but it was worth reading! Anyway amazing book and I'm just about to start the third (the last of the trilogy) book, I'm preparing myself for the feels!!! less
