review 1: As a dexter fan(though only the first few seasons were good) I really loved this book. I wish authors would write more stories like these. I really liked reading about how john thinks and acts. The thing that makes this book really special is the supernatural aspect, which always draws me in. At first, the supernatural demons seem a little tacky and out of place but they soon find their foothold in the plot. This book is perfect for fans of jasper dent, dexter, Hannibal lector, and the whole lot of the crazies.
review 2: I am rating this book 3 stars because for me it was fairly predictable. Is not a bad book, didn't send me to sleep very often < apart from the parts where Brooke was present - i don't know why, i suppose blonde girls don't float my boat :-) > .... more Like i said the book is very enjoyable to read, not so much horror/gore/suspense like the first one, in my opinion. Would i recommend this to a friend: hell yeah ! less
