review 1: Reading the first 275 pages of this novel was laborious. It was toooo technical about the protocol and procedures of the National Transportation Safety Board investigating an airline crash. Even though it was well researched and informative, the reading was tedious and, well, technical. This is the reason I gave it 2 stars. It did not become a "thriller" until the last 75 pages. The suspense in the last 75 pages was thrilling with an exciting climax. I would rate the last 75 pages with 4 stars.
review 2: Ok this book was a waste of my time. I kept thinking it was going to get better but it didnt. At the climax of the story I kept skipping paragraphs and it still made sense but was confusing. Actually the entire book was confusing, mostly filled up with expl
... moreanations of flight and aviation terms and stuff. In my opinion the characters were all very alike in the fact that 99% of them were athletic, attractive, had a likable personality, and were intelligent. The only person that wasn't like tht was one person. The female characters especially lacked in differentiation. They were all alike. All ran for exercise and were very confident no nonsense people and badass. Im fine with badass women; it's good but all three of them seemed entirely too similar. The whole group of characters were too similar. It was like one personality split into 25 or so people. Ugh it was just bad. less
