review 1: This is the third volume of Game of Thrones graphic novel. While I don't care for the artwork much, the art is done in the popular comic book style now in vogue, it still tells a good story. The dialog, most of which comes from the book is exciting and memorable. I got caught up in reading it and lost some of the afternoon. Really enjoyable reading. This volume extends from Eddard having a conflict with Jamie over the arrest of Tyrion by his wife Catelyn to Varys pleading with Eddard to recognize Joffrey as King for the good of the realm. Alas, most fans know how that turns out, but I still enjoy reading it in graphic novel form. I recommend the series and will get the next one as it comes out.
review 2: Again, these graphic novel adaptations of A Game of Thron
... morees is really good story-wise. It's always interesting to see how an artist imagines a character and for many of the characters, the art looks a lot like the descriptions in the novels. Theon looks a lot like I imagined him. I'm still really annoyed by the way Catelyn looks--just as young as Sansa and with the severe bitch-face that both Sansa and Cersei have. less
