review 1: I loved this book! When I first started reading the first book, I was REALLY confused. It get less confusing throughout the trilogy, though. I liked the fact that this book was in mostly Karen's perspective. She's one of my favorite characters, the others being Colette and Takayuki. Tak is awesome in this book! I think it was sad that he was in love with Karen, and she didn't realise it. Colette wasn't even in this book... I do NOT like Pete at all. I never have. Even after he told them about Duke and Guttridge. I kind of felt bad for him with Julie at first, but that went away after he killed Adam. The end with Karen and Monica was so awesome and adorable. When Karen first started talking about Monica, but was no using her name, I was like Who the HECK is she talking abou... moret!?!?! Phoebe and Adam were so cute, and I'm glad they wound up together. I think Tommy should have come back from Washington D.C. at the end, though.
review 2: Passing Strange is the third installment in the Generation Dead series. I enjoy these books for their mix of humor and cheesiness with good character development and an interesting take on zombies. Passing Strange has a different narrator than the previous two, Karen DeSonne. I may have actually liked this one better because I liked Karen more than I liked Pheobe (narrator for Generation Dead and Kiss of Life). The ending has a resolution for Karen but leaves unanswered questions concerning Zombiekind. less
