review 1: As always, Darynda does not disappoint. I cannot stress enough how much I love listening to this book on tape because the reader is amazing! She really puts life in the characters through her voice.Charlie herself is an amazing character, some of the things she replies, and her lack of filter never stop surprising me. She has no filter and I find it refreshing and funny. Yes it gets her in trouble, yes she can be a pain in the ass to be around, but with all that this girl has been through she still has all her marbles... they are just a little jumbled ;)I cannot get enough of these books, and although a very serious subject matter, it is a read that can make you laugh and giggle out loud, to give you a huge lump in your throat. My biggest gripe is that they are not being p... moreublished fast enough.
review 2: For the most part I liked this book. It moved the story forward and introduced some new plot points. However, it kind of felt like a place holder at the same time. While this book did move the overall story forward not a lot happened. I kept reading because I want to know what's going to happen next, but the plot is starting to get a little predictable. I guess I'll just have to wait and see what happens in the next book less
