review 1: I really liked this book. He has interesting descriptions. His protagonist is a woman trying, very successfully, to make it in a man's world yet she never surrenders her femininity. He presents a character with strength who is not so hard she loves her family deeply. He presents her weaknesses and strengths. I found the plot line to be absorbing, suspenseful and pretty darned unique considering he's in competition with a whale of a lot of mystery plots already published. Definite thumbs up!
review 2: All I have to say to this book is : WOW! This book was shockingly good. It even gave the perspective of the killer along with that of the detective. Action and a little bit of romance to go along with it. Definitely worth reading. It was hard toe believe the true h... moreorror of The Beholder and his brutal actions. It was also a very emotionally gripping tale. Although I did guess the killer (correctly!) it took me a while and I kept changing my answer, so this book did what every good thriller/mystery should do: kept me guessing! less
