review 1: Stieg Larson's three books about Lisbeth Salander is one of the great mystery thriller book series. The first two books built an incredible platform for the third book, "The Girl Who Kicked The Hornet's Nest." It's tragic Stieg Larson pasted away at young age. Had he lived I think he would have written a couple more great books for this series. If you haven't read a detailed bio of his life I would suggest you do so, before reading this book. I think the third book especially was influenced by things that happened in his own life. I think it was interesting that he felt he had to keep his own personal address a secret, because of constant death threats to his life. I wonder how much of Steig himself is present in the Mikael Blomkvist. It's also interesting that the... morere are a lot of people who believe he was murdered and it was made to look like a heart attack. We'll never know, but it adds to the mystery. I'll repeat what I said about the previous book in this series. Once you start reading this book you won't want to put it down.Brock Johnsen
review 2: I am currently reading this and, I must say, I like this MUCH better than the second book in the trilogy. Not sure why, except that the puzzle is starting to come together. I am about half way through and intrigued by how the author will wrap up the triplogy of Liz Salandar et al.UPDATE:Just finished this book and it was a great read. I almost did not read it since I was a bit exhausted with the characters, but felt I had already invested a lot of time into this triology. Glad I did read it and it is my favorite of the three. less
