The Dwellers
review 1: This was a breathtaking story. The descriptive narrative is incredible. The extravagance, excess and squandering of the Sun Dwellers as compared to the desolation, bleakness and devastation of the Moon and Star Dwellers is repugnant.I love the characters. The camaraderie between Tristan and Roc is fantastic, no matter the circumstance they can seem to pull a little humor into it. They are loyal to each other beyond belief. The proof of their loyalty is astonishing. I love Adele's no nonsense, get it done attitude. Twainie is the conscious and voice of reason of the group. She is their moral compass. Trevor, strong and laid-back.Tristan's staggering revelation to the group about what President Nailin was keeping secret was inconceivable to the them and beyond their wildest ... moreimagination. This is an incredible series. Secrets, Love, Deception, Treachery, Loyalty,Self Sacrifice. I am enjoying every minute of this series!
review 2: I have to say, DAVID ESTES has become one of my favorite authors! I love this series! As if it's even possible, each book just keeps getting better and better! I think this is my favorite one yet! David Estes' creative writing ability continually sucks me in to Tristan and Adele's world! The detail in the descriptive narrative is so incredible that I felt I was actually in the book traveling and sharing their experiences with them! As book 3 begins, a new bond is building between the characters as they begin their secret mission to The Sun Realm. It was exciting to watch their witty personalities, the bond between the characters and their relationships unfold. Filled with emotion, I felt like I really began to get to know each one of them and they drew near to my heart. The only thing better than the snarky-double-duo we've enjoyed so much with Tristan and Roc is the quadrupled snarky testosterone thrown around in book 3! So witty and funny, it'll make you laugh out loud! And of course, I still love the alternating POV's of Tristan and Adele, which enabled me to gain each of their perspectives.Wrapping up all loose ends, Sun Dwellers has left me satisfied and yet with the ravenous desire for more! I pretty much read this book in one sitting because there was just no place I could stop! An easy and enjoyable must read!! less
