I know most of these ‘Netflix Favourites’ you may already have on DVD or something, but these are my favourites that are on Netflix currently.
Friends
This has only just been put on Netflix but my sister has the whole box set at home so we use to watch it together, but this is one of the best things Netflix have done. I love Friends, I mean who doesn’t? but whenever you are feeling sad or just need some cheering up then this show is something to make it easier. Its one of those classics that will never get old and definitely something you can watch till 2 am without realising, who doesn’t want to re-watch the Rachel and Ross story line again and listen to Chandlers jokes on repeat!
Bridesmaids
This is one of the funniest movies I have seen in a long while, although it had a few sad parts but doesn’t every movie. I enjoyed watching this on a Saturday night with chocolate whilst in bed, I strongly suggest you give this movie a try because you will laugh so much you’ll cry!
Fresh Meat
I discovered this programme when I finished watching Pretty Little Liars, it had just been put on Netflix and I thought I’d give it a go; I’m bloody glad I did. I binged watched this and I’ve probably watched it about four times, its just something you can watch over again and still laugh. I strongly recommend it if you want to watch something that makes uni look like a party and has Jack Whitehall acting like an 18 year old posh student in.
Autopsy of Jane Doe
If you want to watch a horror movie that will actually shit you up, then this is the one for you because I didn’t expect very much from it; but HOLY SHIT it was creepy. It doesn’t seem like its that long, but for most of the movie the creepy parts are silent and that’s why you end up jumping out of bed. I think the thing that makes it worse like what my boyfriend said, this stuff can actually happen in real life and its quite odd to think; what would you actually do in that situation? So give the movie a go and let me know whether I’m either a wimp or its actually scary…
Stranger Things
You will all probably look at this and think ‘how typical *eye roll emoji* but when I say its so good; I mean its SO GOOOOD!. It takes a few episodes to get into because it can be considered a confusing plot line, but you need to pay attention so you can understand it fully. Once you get into the story then I guarantee you will be hooked, plus even though Steve Harrington is a massive dickhead in the first season; you’ll fall in love with him in season 2. Go on and give it a shot…
Angus, Thongs and Perfect Snogging
This is for the girls, especially of the age of 20 and a little bit above because this movie is my teenage years, but not because this is how it was but we have ALL situations like this at some point during school. I re watched this movie a good few hundred times (slight exaggeration but still many times), but every time its still like the first time seeing it over again. This in some way has a least one aspect every teenage girl goes through and this is what makes it funny, the adventures that Georgia and her friends get up to are definitely worth the watch.
Person of Interest
Before I get into this, my boyfriend suggested this and spent a good few months trying to get me to watch this but I just continued to say no; but in the end I gave it a go and I love it. I’m still in the process of watching but its something you have to watch and pay attention too, especially the first two episodes because the most information comes from them. You can binge watch the show but just make sure you actually watch it, instead of just having it on in the background whilst scrolling through your phone. Plus if you like a bit of crime mixed with technology and future things, this is a show for you!
