review 1: At first, I read this because of the author - and because I got it at a fire sale. It is a crazy ride and before long I was hooked. He really challenges a reader and I recommend this book as an out of the box experience.

Wow...what a strange & weird book. I never really knew where the author was going, even at the end.

Guterson is in fine form as always. One of the best books I've read in a while!
