review 1: I had already worked my way through the Scrivener tutorial about 9 months ago. Then I moved and didn't touch the software for a long time. I read through this book in two sittings. It was a wonderful refresher to allow me to jump right back into the software, but the best part is that it allowed me to go through the software from the novel writer's perspective. It was a little shorter than I'd thought it would be, but it turned out that it has the best tips, just concisely written.

... moree of hours--mostly because I skimmed the latter half of the book because it described how to do things that I don't need to know now. But I found it useful and interesting. Because I've been playing with Scrivener for a few weeks now I had a general idea of how to use the software, but Hewson provides some concrete advice on how to use this software for novel writing. Not what I am into at the moment....but who knows..... less
