review 1: The book is full of many different stories, instead of just one full story. These stories could be scary, funny, or just plain twisted versions of fairy tales. The characters of each story were plainly bullies, or just normal kids. When you read, you may think, "Oh I that guys not smart. I totally wouldn't have done that!" Well, I you really think about it, you would have totally gone and explored that cave. Anyone would have, really. I would rate this book four stars because I thought it was a really neat concept, but I prefer whole stories, or at least many different stories that all come together in the end. But then again, that just my point of view. I liked this book very much because I love scary books, and although it wasn't really scary, it was still in the right d... moreirection. I would recommend this book to fantasy and horror readers.
review 2: Vampire Weenies, written by David Lubar, is a book containing 23 warped and creepy tales. After opening this book it will seem as if you can't put it down. Every story is creatively written and cleverly ended. If you don't mind a couple shivers running up and down your spine, this is the book for you. Many people are picky about the books they read, so if you are like that I would recommend this book. You will not be disappointed. Besides the ridiculous name, it was one of the best books I have ever read. There are four other weenie books in David Lubar's series. If I were you, I would read this book and then recommend it to everybody you know. less
