review 1: Awful, just awful. At first this book looked cute and cozy, if a little cheesy. But when I got into it I found the editing poor, and the writing unimaginative and bland. Also, the whole brother not approving of husband so clichè. The big fight then happy ending made me want to torch the book! The "best part" (if there was one) was about Cleo! Lastly, this book was so boring I wanted to gouge my eyes out! All in all, this is an awful read!
review 2: This was the first Debbie Macomber book I've ever read. She is highly recommended on Goodreads and You Tube so I thought I would check out a few of her books. I had always been deterred after reading the jacket because a lot of her books have a woman that is divorced or windowed in it. I thought I wouldn't be able t... moreo relate to the character but I did relate to the character in this book even though I've never been married and thus have never been divorced but I have had a broken heart and been betrayed by a man I thought I loved. I also love the cat part of this book as I am a cat lover. I can't wait to read another one of her books. less
